215 Ink is Going to Mars

The award-winning team of Scott O. Brown, Horacio Lalia and Stu Chaifetz are bringing their latest creation - Red Ice - to independent publisher 215 Ink. After working for companies like Marvel, DC, Vertigo and more, the Red Ice team has come to 215 Ink for digital and print publication for their Mars epic.

“Red Ice offers the kind of adventure and talent we love,” said 215 Ink President Andrew DelQuadro, “and we’ve already seen an immense response to previews - both online and at NYCC.”


Red Ice centers around the story of archaeologist Roland Allegro on his adopted homeland of Mars as he uncovers the true story behind the Red Planet’s initial colonization. With an invasion looming, Roland must dodge the government of Mars as he tries to get back to Earth.

Liss & Byrns Bring New Book to 215 Ink

David Liss, bestselling novelist and writer of Black Panther: The Man Without Fear, Mystery Men and The Spider and artist Allen Byrns have teamed up to bring their newest creation to independent publishing company 215 Ink.

215 Ink Brings a Snowstorm This Spring with The Zoo Act

Publisher 215Ink has added another to its talented roster of creator-owned books. Its newest OGN is “The Zoo Act,” a two-color tale of murder and mayhem by North Carolina newcomer Myron Macklin.
Easy money is hard to pass up, especially when you rig the game to win. Jerman and his best bud do and bet large against an ex-con. They lose, are found out and worst of all, can’t pay. Now, Jerman has 48 hours to make $15,000 or his buddy is the first to die. He scrambles a job helping an old friend; no questions asked. It's not long before he is on the run from beasts and badges in the snowy wilderness because unknown to Jerman, what he is really doing is helping a gangster get away with murder.

In “The Zoo Act,” lessons pile as fast as questions. 1. Trouble comes quick when the “solution” becomes an even bigger problem. 2. How many people must die because of the contents of a mysterious case?

215 Ink Announces Cobble Hill

August 23 -

215 Ink is proud to announce the release of the new Young-Adult thriller Cobble Hill, debuting at New York Comic Con.

Written by Jeremy Holt and drawn by Selena Goulding, Cobble Hill is a coming of age story of 17 year old, Samantha Charles - sole heir to her family’s fortune after the mysterious disappearance of her parents.

“I’ve often found female characters to be misrepresented in comics,”explained Holt. “With Cobble Hill, I want to introduce a female lead that is both strong and relatable -- inherently -- while at the same providing an engaging mystery for a younger audience.”

Another important character to the story is the fictional historical port town of Cobble Hill. More specifically, inanimate objects that speak to Samantha in cryptic messages which reveal dark secrets about the quiet and unassuming town -- riddles she will ultimately solve.

With a broad range of the industries most talented creators and comics such as Vic Boone, Transmeet, Jesus Hates Zombies, Beware..., and Footprints, Cobble Hill plans to provide new YA content for 215 Ink’s expanding audience.

LOVE MONSTER, a new comic project, dares to answer this very question. The geeky yet alluring Pearl has a thing for masked killers and creepy creatures! Meek and awkward Bob has a thing for Pearl! The masked killers and creepy creatures aren't very fond of Bob at all! It's a bloody mess, made all the bloodier by a chilling secret...

Join Pearl and her long-suffering friend Bob as she tracks down her next romantic conquest, and he tries to keep her alive to kiss and tell.

Writer Christopher Howard Wolf weaves a partly silly, partly horrifying tale as illustrator David Cabrera delivers on the hilariously appropriate and at times shocking visuals.

This year at Baltimore Comic Con - Sept 8th & 9th - 215 Ink will unveil a deal previously unheard of in the comic community, small press or otherwise: a fully-functional Android 4.0 tablet loaded with the full lineup of 215 titles for just $99.

“We felt a lot of new readers were still waiting for a reason to try comics on a tablet device,” said President Andrew DelQuadro, “and this offers a chance to sample the next evolution of the medium at a price point that won't break the bank.
